Trying to pick up Joe Saunders...who should I drop?

You should be able to put Cuddyer in your DL spot. If you already have it filled, then dump him. As you said, he ain't great when he is playing. Otherwise, I would drop Zito, Qualls, or Broxton. Zito sucks and does you no good. Qualls and Broxton will be available when/if the closers on their teams get hurt. Unless your league gives credit for saves, setup men have virtually no value.
