Was I being persecuted by answering honestly?
Edg1 is right. It was more than likely someone who didn't agree with your way of thinking. And questions that make certain people uncomfortable tend to get reported. Not many want to think about the things you wrote about. I happen to agree with you about how the public school system has gradually clamped down on allowing students to have the freedom to write about their faith, or express it in any public way. My son gave a Bible tract to another student while playing on the playground during free time. The student asked to take it home with him, and my son was agreeable. A teacher saw this exchange, took the tract away from the student, and told my son that "these" could not be ped out on school property. She then threw the tract away, instead of giving it back to my son. Since when do we check out faith at the door? Our faith IS who we are, and does not come off for anyone. We can no more shed our faith than an Eskimo shed his heritage. You see, people don't really understand that being a Christian is more than just being religious. It's a way of life. As Christians, we have been adopted by our Father God, into His family. We are now his sons & daughters. We are now heirs to everything that God has for us. We cannot enter a public building and put that all aside. My grandkids are both adopted. I wouldn't expect them to shed their adoption just to be able to function within a building, even if it's a public building. Okay, I know...getting off the track again...sorry...I do that a lot. I've had a couple of violations thrown at me too, so I'm taking this personally too. I think, for the most part, that many violations get by unnoticed. But, if one question rubs someone the wrong way, they're only too happy to push the on. I've asked them to review my question and actually won. So I'd give that a shot and see if they'll actually read it and reinstate your question. I think you did good. And if your school is still allowing students to write about Jesus, then you are among the minority. Better protect that while you can, and while the ACLU doesn't find out. Nowadays, it's getting more and more unpopular to be a Christian, or to be one who possesses a moral character. Enjoy your freedoms while you have them. <*)))><
