Does World of Warcraft use a unique programming language that deter bots?

One of the reasons why WoW is so successful is the strict crack down on cheaters/botters. I'm wondering why and how it's so. Is it because WoW is written in a different language than conventional online games or do they have some kind unique system structure used for bot detection? Could you also name the language they use?
