How do women show attraction to the opposite ?

Their is this cute lady that gives me some serious eye from a distance and I can see it from my side view and then when I look fully in her direction she turns, another time when we did talk face to face she could not look at me but instead was looking down, like she was praying to Jesus or something. She always asks me if it's ok with me and seeks my approval. Im interested as well but we both seem like shy type and I will be the first to admit that my haven't dropped yet. What she telling me here? What should I do? Why can't woman be like us dudes and say hey foo we like your ***, I don't get it? Thanks.
