I am so confused!!help!!!?

okay there's this guy who i knew from my ex and i recently started to like him but he says he cant get in a relationship bcuz i had his friend and he wunt feel rite with his freind aorund us.so we were jus freinds then we went out and we kissed and it was so special but the thing is he likes these other girls not only me.one day he says he likes but he doesnt like know me well enough to start a relationship the next thing i hear he wants to show how he fells about me ??? wat the hell should i do i am so lost rite now i like him alot and he says he is too but i really dnt no wat to do shouldwe jus keep being freinds without the kissing and he calling me hon and stuff or shud i jus wait it out ??please advice asap it burning me to know wat to do thank you so much
