If you've taken the freshman practice psat?

..(sigh) i took waaay too long to do the practice english section where theres like a long text and you have to answer questions about it on my practice psat.. like how do u do it quicker? i left like 6 blank. should i read the questions first? .. the text first??.. i didn't read the whole text, i only went back to the lines the question was about.. but idk if that was the best way.. what works best?
